What we do?

Our aim is to encourage, enthuse, and engage the local and global church. We do this through local evangelism, street work, seminars, global missions and church preaching, and sharing our testimonies.

Mens Ministries

‘Marshall’s Garden Center Kintore’

Simply contact us and we’ll be happy to come and open one where guys from all walks of life, believers or non-believers can come relax, talk about everything from football to what’s happening in Israel, and hear about a God who loves them just as they are.

A lot of men today are suffering from acute loneliness and Garden Centers are the new coffee bars or cafes. They are especially popular with middle aged, retired men, and younger. To meet this need, Stirring the Glue would like to help set up informal men’s breakfast/coffee gatherings in garden centers near your church.

“Dare to be different

In the past open air ministry, what we mean by this is sharing the gospel in the local market place, town centre, or even around your church used to be scorned upon as old fashioned. But we have found people are so desperate for the Word of God that preaching and testifying in the open air is another life giving way of reaching the lost.

Stirring the Glue have vast experience of open air ministry and would be willing and available at your request to come and minister in your locality in whatever form you have in mind. As long as the Word of God goes forth with power and anointing.

And on the fifth day God created… dogs

Its a true saying ‘a mans best friend is his dog’ and I suppose next to God, my wife, my family, my church, and my football club I would have to agree.

But what is the church doing to cater for man and his best buddy. While pastoring a village church in Suffolk recently we discovered that everyone had at least one dog of various size and breed but there was no facilities apart from the village green where owners could meet and relax together with their hounds.

Welcome to the Canine Cafe.

We discovered the car park behind the church was not being used apart from Sundays and an adjacent field owned by the church was just lying idle. so after a lot prayer, discussion and village chatter we tentatively opened a cafe where dogs and owners could enjoy the open air sunshine over a coffee and some cake while their best friends could take advantage of a very low budget obstacle course and just run around freely under the supervision of several keen dog lovers.

This we found was a very simple but effective way of sharing Jesus with the local community and at the same time brining them together in a very non offensive and relaxing atmosphere.

If you would like us to come and start a canine cafe near your church or community get in touch with us at stirringtheglue@gmail.com.

By the way I stumbled upon a Huskey hangout under a subway station in china summer 2025. So far it's only a social thing but Im sure it woundn’t take much for christian dog owners to turn this into an outreach!.
